Elizabeth (Liz) Glines serves as the Marketing Director for Altman & Associates, leveraging over 40 years of elite investment, legal, and trust experience to steer the firm’s strategic growth. As the architect of the firm’s business development and infrastructure, Liz ensures that the firm’s commitment to "world-class service" is felt by every client across the Washington, D.C., and Maryland metropolitan area.
Before joining the Altman team, Liz built a reputation in the financial and legal sectors. She previously served as the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for the Capital Trust Company of Delaware, where she helped to forge high-level partnerships with legal advisors and financial institutions. As a founding principal, her deep understanding of the industry is further informed by her tenure as Vice President and Regional Sales Director at Voyageur Asset Management, as well as her technical background as a Senior Systems Analyst at Smith Barney’s Consulting Group. Before her career in trusts and investments, she served in the Department of Energy and the Department of the Interior, handling special projects under the Reagan Administration.
Liz is more than an administrator; she is a strategic member of the estate planning team. She oversees the firm’s critical infrastructure projects, leading to its physical expansions and implementing cutting-edge information technology to streamline the client experience.
Liz directs all external communications, including social media campaigns, website content, and the firm’s educational outreach. Her unique ability to translate complex legal and financial concepts into accessible, client-focused materials has been a cornerstone of the firm’s regional success. She is also responsible for the firm's retirement planning decisions.
A native of New Jersey, Liz holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Charleston, where she played tennis and rowed on the women’s eight. She is a resident of Potomac, Maryland, where she lives with her husband, Gary, and cares for her mother.
Liz is a true "homemaker" in every sense of the word. When she isn't refining the firm’s operations, she is often found engaged in interior design, tending to her garden, candle making or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. An avid reader and devoted dog lover, Liz finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her three Labrador Retrievers, the unofficial mascots of the Altman household.
